Plastering / punning systems
For internal plastering surfaces, gypsum plastering offers an environmentally responsible substitute for the conventional sand-cement treatment.
Gypsum plastering or punning is a quicker application technique for indoor surfaces since it skips the laborious water curing step. To prevent shrinkage cracks from developing as a result of hydration heat, water curing is required for 20 to 21 days following sand-cement plastering. To create a consistent slurry, pure water is combined with gypsum plaster at the job site at the recommended ratio. Then, by trained applicators, gypsum plaster slurry is applied to walls and ceilings at the desired thickness; this procedure is known as gypsum plastering or punning.
