Our Team’s China Trip: Inspecting the Knauf STAR-USG & DONN T-Grid Factory
We are always committed to bringing top-quality building materials to our clients. To keep that promise, our technical team recently traveled to Langfang, China to visit the Knauf STAR-USG manufacturing plant and inspect their products directly on the factory floor.
This facility operates through a joint partnership of global leaders—Knauf, USG Corporation, and BBMG. It manufactures world-renowned Mineral Fiber Ceiling Boards as well as DONN® brand T-Grid suspension systems.
What We Saw Inside the Factory
Modern and Clean Production: Right from the entrance, the cleanliness and high-tech setup impressed us. The entire production line is fully automated, organized, and follows strict safety standards.
Testing STAR-USG Mineral Fiber Boards: We personally checked samples of the USG Olympus™ Max ClimaPlus™ ceiling tiles during production:

Checking DONN® USG T-Grids: A ceiling board is only as good as the frame supporting it. The DONN T-Grids being made at the plant are crafted from high-grade galvanized steel (GI):
